Adult programs

CDPL hosts a multitude of programs every month. Head over to the Events page to see a list of currently-planned programs or follow us on social media to receive regular updates about upcoming classes and programs. Have an idea for a program that you’d love to teach? Email us at ref@cdpl.lib.in.us

You can find recorded versions of previous programs here.

Looking for your next favorite read? Let the staff of CDPL help! Whether you’d like to receive read-alike suggestions for a title you already love or are looking to try out a whole new genre, we’ll do our best to find great book matches for you. Provide us with as much information as your prefer, keeping in mind that the more detail you provide us with, the better our recommendations! You can request a Book Match online or can pick up a physical request card while at CDPL.

The Local History section is open during regular library hours. History and Genealogy materials related to Montgomery County are offered, along with research assistance. Click here to visit our Local History landing page or click here to view the local history database.

Public computer lab

The public computer lab is available for use during normal library operating hours. A library card or internet guest card is required in order to log onto computers. Both types of cards can be obtained at the main Circulation desk; we only require that you provide photo ID in order to get an Internet Guest Card.

Printing fees are $0.10 per black & white page, $0.25 per color page. Cash and debit cards ($3 minimum) are accepted. We also offer scan-to-email and copy services and offer USB drives ($3) and earbuds ($1) for purchase at the reference desk.

Please be aware that computers shut down automatically 15 minutes before the library closes. We encourage patrons to plan their computer use accordingly.
